In-Depth 4: Classical Playing

Here’s me playing a classical guitar piece by Ferdinando Carulli…

Allegretto by iris_h

I’ve only started playing this for a few days, so it’s still a little slow, and not very smooth. I think I’ll record myself playing the same song again in a week, so I can prove I am capable on improving.Which leads me to…

Lesson of the Week:

Practice as often as possible, even if it’s for 15 minutes a day. I’ve learned the hard way that practicing for two hours every three days is not nearly as effective as practicing every day or two for about half hour. Last week, I practiced almost everyday. So, at my lesson, there was a very impressed mentor and a very happy me. :)

I’m starting to learn various chord progressions and I’ll be learning some acoustic songs soon. Yippeee!!!!

Sounds really good so far!
I personally am completely musically incapable but your playing sounds fairly smooth to me.
I cant wait to here how good you will be by the end of this project,
good luck.

Iris:
I love this song. This sounds like a challenging piece for someone who has only just picked up the guitar. I am an impressed listener and teacher.

Awesome! I might be able to play a little guitar, but I think you’ll always be better at Rock Band than me…
